Hi... Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time, there was a 15 year old dude who fell madly in love with an 19 year old babe. The babe was also madly in love with the dude. Their relationship was one made in heaven. They were inseparable.
Unfortunately, the babe's parents didn't like the dude very much because he was "too young and just another long-haired rock guitarist with no future." They wanted their daughter to graduate college, go into law school, and all that good stuff. They forbade her from seeing the dude.
But in spite of all, the babe kept seeing the dude. They would go out and watch movies at Rodela (e.g. The Bridges Of Madison County, Assassins, A Walk In The Clouds, and Desperado), and eat at Pedritos. They would hang out for hours on end at a place the dude calls "The Fields Of Gold", just talking and making out. Whenever the dude got a good-paying gig, they would go a motel where they would make love--- sweet, passionate, steamy. The babe gave herself--- heart and soul--- to the dude.
They thought it would never end. Three months later, the babe's parents caught them both making out by the jeepney stop. They were so upset that they FORCED her to break up with the dude.
The dude was so devastated. He did everything to numb the pain. He started drinking. Chainsmoking. Snorting cocaine. Heroin. You name it. He couldn't get over the breakup. One day he just had a nervous breakdown. After that, he tried so hard to forget about her. He started dating other girls. But none of them came close to how the babe was.
Moving on...
The babe graduated college and moved on to law school. Did interior designing during the weekends. Funny thing is she still lives with her parents.
The dude dropped out of college, migrated to another country, moved from one place to another, one job to another, and so on.
But one thing remained true: their undying love for each other remained untouched. They both knew deep inside that they were made for each other.
Back to reality...
